First Fruit of the Season
Longer days and milder weather means summer's on its way, and the fruits are growing, the first of which is now available...rhubarb! Tender, sweet and a good source of fibre, rhubarb can be used in puddings and works very well in meat and oily fish dishes. Ours is fresh and homegrown...delicious!

Give mum a treat...!
Celeriac...The Ugly One!
In season now...our homegrown celeriac. It may look like something from Doctor Who, but don't be baffled! It has a subtle, celery like flavour and is very tasty in soups, or sliced in salads. Try it mashed with potato, or in slow-cooked dishes. Go on...try some!
